Important:Yourmachinedoesnotcomewithoilin
theengine.Beforestartingtheengine,lltheengine
withoil.
Max.ll:0.59L(20oz),type:SAE30orSAE10W-30
detergentoilwithanAPIserviceclassicationofSF,SG,SH,
SJ,SL,orhigher.
Note:Whenthecrankcaseisempty,pourabout3/4of
thecrankcasecapacityofoilinthecrankcase,thendothe
following:
1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurface.
2.Removethedipstick(Figure6).

3.Wipethedipstickcleanwithacleancloth.
4.Insertthedipstickintotheoil-lltubebutdonot

5.Readtheoillevelonthedipstick(Figure6).
•Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoolow,slowly
pourasmallamountofoilintotheoil-lltube,
wait3minutes,andrepeatsteps3through5until
theoillevelonthedipstickisatthecorrectlevel.
•Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoohigh,drainthe
excessoiluntiltheoillevelonthedipstickisat
thecorrectlevel.RefertoChangingtheEngine
Oil(page17).
Important:Iftheoillevelinthecrankcaseistoo
lowortoohighandyouruntheengine,youmay
damagetheengine.
6.Installthedipsticksecurely.
