lowerthebladecontrolbartoofar,themowerstops
self-propelling.Squeezethebladecontrolbarcloserto
thehandletoincreasethegroundspeed.Whenyou
holdthebladecontrolbartightagainstthehandle,the
mowerself-propelsatthemaximumgroundspeed.
MovethegroundspeedcontroltotheNeutralposition
whenyouusethemowerfortrimmingorwhenever
youleavethemower.
UsingtheDischargeTunnel
Plug
1.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Inserttheplug;refertoInstallingtheDischargeTunnel
Plug.
3.Toremovetheplug,movethedischargedoorhandle
rearwardandliftupthespringcliponthebottomof
theplug.Whentheplugisunlocked,pullitoutofthe
dischargetunnel.
Note:Whengrassisthickandlush,clippingsmay
collectonandaroundthedischargetunnelplug.This
maymakeremovingtheplugdifcult.Cleantheplug
thoroughlyaftereachuse.
AdjustingtheCuttingHeight
Eachwheelisadjustedindividuallywithawheelheight
adjustmentlever.Cuttingheightsare3/4inch(19mm),
1-1/4inches(32mm),1-3/4inches(44mm),2-1/4inches
(57mm),2-3/4inches(70mm),and3-1/4inches(83mm).
DANGER
Adjustingthecuttingheightleverscouldbringyour
handsintocontactwithamovingbladeandresult
inseriousinjury.
Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovementto
stopbeforeadjustingthecuttingheight.
Donotputyourngersunderthehousingwhen
adjustingthecuttingheight.
1.Pullthewheelheightadjustmentlevertowardthe
wheel(Figure18)andmoveittothedesiredsetting.

2.Ensurethatthedischargedoorhandleisfullyforward
andthatthepinisengagedinthecatch(Figure19).
