Function Description:
The Toro ProLine traction unit is a pedestrian-controlled piece of equipment primarily used for mowing. Usage Features:
- Controls: The machine features a throttle control (FAST/SLOW), choke control (CHOKE/RUN), blade control bail, blade control switch (PTO), upper control bar (for forward/backward traction and steering), reference handle (to maintain ground speed), and an ignition switch (START/RUN/OFF). A fuel shut-off valve is located under the fuel tank.
- Starting: Requires spark plug wire(s) installed, fuel valve open, choke set (for cold engine), throttle to FAST, and turning the ignition key to START.
- Stopping: Move throttle to FAST (allow engine to cool if hot), turn ignition key to OFF, and remove the key. For unattended machine, close fuel shut-off valve and disconnect spark plug wire(s).
