Check Operation of Interlock Switches
CAUTION
Do not disconnect safety switches. They are for
theoperator’sprotection.Checktheoperationof
theinterlockswitches dailyforproperoperation.
Replaceany malfunctioning switches before op-
erating the machine.
Interlock switch operation is described in the Traction
Unit Operator’s Manual. Your Groundsmaster is
equippedwithtwo (2) ToroElectronicControllers(TEC)
whichmonitorinterlockswitchoperation.Testingofindi-
vidual interlock switches and relays is included in the
Component Testing section of this Chapter.
NOTE: Use the Diagnostic Display (see Special Tools
in this chapter) to test Toro Electronic Controller inputs
andoutputs before further troubleshooting of an electri-
cal problem on your Groundsmaster.
