UsingthePowerSaverFeature
Engagingthepowersaverfeaturewillextendtheruntimeofthe
batterybyshorteningthelengthofthetrimmerlineanddecreasing
theloadonthemotor.
Ifyouareexperiencingreducedbatteryruntime,itisrecommended
thatyouengagethepowersaverfeature.
Pushdownandrotatethepowersaverknob(Figure17)180
degrees(1/2turn)toshortenthelengthofthetrimmerline.This
reducesthepowerconsumptionofthetrimmerandextendsthe
runtimeofthebattery.
Toresumeoperationintheregularmode,pushdownandrotate
thepowersaverknob180degrees(1/2turn).

OperatingTips
Keepthetrimmertiltedtowardtheareabeingcut;thisisthe
bestcuttingarea.
Tiltthetrimmersothatthetrimmerstringislowestonthe
rightside.
Thestringtrimmercutsbestwhenpassingtheunitfromleftto
right.Thiswillalsoavoidthrowingdebrisattheoperator.
Usethetipofthestringtodothecutting;donotforcestring
headintouncutgrass.
Wireandpicketfencescauseextrastringwear,even
breakage.Stoneandbrickwalls,curbs,andwoodmaywear
stringrapidly.
Avoidtreesandshrubs.Treebark,woodmoldings,siding,
andfencepostscaneasilybedamagedbythestrings.
