Toensurepropercooling,makesurethegrassscreen,cooling
ns,andotherexternalsurfacesoftheenginearekeptclean
atalltimes.
Annually,orevery100hoursofoperation(moreoften
underextremelydusty,dirtyconditions),removetheblower
housing,andanyothercoolingshrouds.Cleanthecooling
nsandexternalsurfacesasnecessary.Makesurethecooling
shroudsareinstalled.Torquetheblowerhousingscrewsto
7.5N-m(5.5ft-lb).
Important:Operatingtheenginewithablockedgrass
screen,dirtyorpluggedcoolingns,and/orcooling
shroudsremoved,willcauseenginedamagedueto
overheating.

blade-controlswitch.
2.Movethemotion-controlleversoutwardtothepark
position,stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitfor
allmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
