WhentheengineswitchonthecowlisintheRUNposition,
itallowstheenginetorun.Movingtheengineswitchtothe
STOPpositionshutsofftheengine.
Handwheel
Thehandwheelcontrolsthedischargingactionofthedrum.
Drum-tiltBrake
Thedrum-tiltbrakelocksthedrumintoanuprightposition
oradischargingposition.

CLOSEDposition.Oncetheengineisrunning,movethe
chokelevertotheOPENposition.Donotusethechokeifthe
engineisalreadywarmeduporiftheairtemperatureishigh.
ThrottleLever
Thethrottlelever(Figure13)controlsthespeed(rpm)ofthe
engine.Itislocatednexttothechokelever.Itsetstheengine
speedandthereforecanincreaseanddecreasetherotation
speedofthemixingpaddles.Forbestperformance,setthis
controltotheFASTpositionwhenmixingmaterial.

UsetheOn/Offswitch(Figure14)tostartandshutoffthe
engine.Thisswitchislocatedonthefrontoftheengine.
RotatetheOn/OffswitchtotheONpositiontostartandrun
