CleaningtheDrum
ServiceInterval:Aftereachuse
Important:Donotstrikeonthedrumwithashovel,
hammer,oranyotherdevicetoloosenanyaccumulated
driedmaterials.
1.Whilethemachineisrunning,usethehandwheelto
tiltthedrumslightly.
2.Engagethedrum-tiltbraketopreventthedrumfrom
tiltingfurtheranddischargingthewater.
3.Asthedrumisrotating,sprayitthoroughlywithwater
beforethematerialdries.
4.Allowthedrumtorotateandtumbletheloosematerial
andwater,furtherlooseningtherestofthematerial.
5.Continuetospraythedrumwithwatertoremoveall
materialfromthedrumandmixingpaddles.
6.Whenyouhaveremovedallmaterialfromthesurfaces
ofthedrumandmixingpaddles,disengagethe
drum-tiltbrakeandusethehandwheeltotiltthedrum
anddumpthewaterfromthedrum.
7.Ifsomematerialstillremainsinthedrum,spraythe
drumwithwaterwhileitistilteddownward,allowing
thewaterandmaterialtorunout.
