tothefollowinginstructionstoadjusttheswathto38.1cm(15inches)asshowninDofFigure13.
1.Removetheswathbladefromthebottomoftheguardbyremovingthe2screwsholdingitinplaceusing
theprovidedAllenwrench(BofFigure13)androtatetheswathblade180°.

thisisthebestcuttingarea.
Thestringtrimmercutswhenyoumoveitfrom
righttoleft.Thispreventsthetrimmerfrom
throwingdebrisatyou.
Usethetipofthestringtodothecutting;donot
forcethestringheadintouncutgrass.
Wireandpicketfencescancausethestringto
wearrapidlyandevenbreak.Stoneandbrick
walls,curbs,andwoodcanalsocausethestring
towearrapidly.
Avoidtreesandshrubs.Thestringcaneasily
damagetreebark,woodmoldings,siding,and
fenceposts.
