1.Removethebatteryfromthechassis;refertoRemoving
theBattery(page36).
2.Checktheelectrolytelevel.
3.Ensurethatthellercapsareinstalledonthebattery.
4.Chargethebatteryfor1hourat25to30Aor6hours
at4to6A.
5.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,unplugthecharger
fromtheelectricaloutlet,anddisconnectthecharger
leadsfromthebatteryposts(Figure49).
6.Installthebatteryontothemachineandconnectthe
batterycables;refertoInstallingtheBattery(page37).
Note:Donotrunthemachinewiththebattery
disconnected;electricaldamagemayoccur.
