machinearedesignedtoremainonthecoverafter
removal.Loosenallofthefastenersoneachcovera
fewturnssothatthecoverisloosebutstillattached,
thengobackandloosenthemuntilthecover
comesfree.Thiswillpreventyoufromaccidentally
strippingtheboltsfreeoftheretainers.
SeparatingtheCuttingUnit
fromtheTractionUnit
1.Positionthemachineonlevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunittotheoor,movetheliftlevertothe
Floatposition,shuttheengineoff,andengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Removetheboltandwashermountedtothetopof
eachheightofcutrod(Figure25).
