Thisfeatureallowsyoutocustomizethespeed
settingsforyourcomfortlevel,ortocustomizethe
speedsettingstottheapplication.
Youcanusethisfeaturetolimitthemaximum
tractionspeedto75%whilemowinginanarea
withmanytrees.
Ifyouadjustthemaximumtractionspeedto
75%,themaximumspeedofthemachine
islimitedfrom0to75%andmatchedto
thefullstrokeofthetractionpedal.This
settingincreasesthetractionpedalresolution,
resultinginimprovedcontrol.Howfaryou
movethetractionpedalchangeshowmuch
themachine'sspeedchanges.
UsingtheBrakePedals
Important:Inemergencybrakingsituations,
removeyourfootfromthetractionpedalandthen
pressthebrakepedals.
Inthelowspeedrangeonly,youcanusethebrakes
individuallyforturningortoimprovetraction.Perform
thefollowingwhenusingthebrakesindividually:
Disconnectthepedal-lockinglatch(Figure30).
Forturningassist,pressthecorrespondingbrake
pedaltothesideyouareturning.Thisallowsa
tighterturningradius.
Note:Usetheindividualbrakescarefully,
especiallyonsoftorwetgrass,becausetheturf
maybetornaccidentally.
Fortractionassist,applylightpressuretothe
brakepedalcorrespondingtothefronttirethatis
slipping.Forexample,insomeslopeconditions,
theuphillwheelslipsandlosestraction.Ifthis
situationoccurs,presstheuphillbrakepedal
graduallyandintermittentlyuntiltheuphillwheel
stopsslipping,Thisactionincreasesthetraction
onthedownhillwheel.
