MAINTENANCE
CONDITION
POSSIBLE CAUSES
REPAIR
1. Individual Boom or
Master Boom Valve won't
open.
Pressure control valve
difficult to turn.
Debris in valve - Flush system with water
and neutralizing agent.
- Disassemble valve, clean
thoroughly and replace O-
Ring's and seals as neces-
sary.
2. Individual Boom Valve
wont shut off.
Valve O-Ring's deteriorated
Pull fork under Individual
Boom Valve. Inspect and
make repairs as necessary.
3. Leakage around Master
or Individual Boom Valves.
O-Ring deteriorated
4. Valve operating properly,
but pressure drop too high.
Disassemble valve and re-
place O-Ring's.
5. Master Boom Valve won't
shut off.
Obstruction in valve body Remove inlet and outlet con-
nections and inspect body.
TROUBLESHOOTING THE CONTROL VALVES
Ball or seat in Master Valve
defective.
Remove hose from front of
valve and replace ball and
seat.
