  If there's no spray or poor output from the sprayer nozzles, several issues could be the cause. The sprayer tank might be empty, so refill it. The tank shutoff valve(s) may be closed or partially closed; fully open them. The strainer, pump, or nozzles could be clogged or damaged, requiring cleaning, repair, or replacement. Check the hoses for clogs, kinks, or damage, and address as needed. Ensure the boom spray-control valves are in the ON position. Adjust the sprayer pressure and ground speed. Verify the chemical mixture is correct per the manufacturer's recommendations. Finally, inspect the sprayer system for leaks or air drawing, and repair or replace components as necessary.

  If the engine doesn't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, check these potential causes: Ensure the fuel tank is filled with fuel. Adjust the throttle lever midway between the SLOW and FAST positions, and set the choke to ON for a cold engine or OFF for a warm engine. If there is dirt in fuel filter, replace the fuel filter. Clean the foam-filter element or replace the paper-filter element if the air filter elements are dirty. Check the electrical connections for good contact and clean them. Clean, adjust, or replace the spark plug if it is worn or damaged. Check the spark-plug wire connection at the spark plug.

  The engine may lose power due to several reasons. If the engine load is excessive, reduce the ground speed of the machine. If the air-filter elements are dirty, clean the foam-filter element or replace the paper-filter element. If the oil level in the engine is low, add oil to the proper level. Make sure that the cooling fins and air passages for the engine are not plugged with dirt or debris, clean them if needed. Clean or replace the fuel cap if the vent hole in the fuel cap is plugged. If there is dirt in the fuel filter, replace it.

  If the impeller isn't rotating, start by cleaning any debris buildup. Ensure the hopper screen is clean. If the impeller motor is loose or damaged, repair or replace it. Check the hydraulic hoses and connections if the motor hydraulics are damaged. Set the Impeller-speed control to the ON position and adjust the impeller speed. Replace the drive pin if it is missing. If the bearings failed in the impeller motor, replace the bearings in the motor or the motor assembly.

If the sprayer nozzles are clogged, clean or replace them. Clean the hopper screen if it is plugged. Check to see if the agitator pin for the shaft of the impeller motor is present. Adjust the position of the control cable if the diffuser ramp setting is incorrect.
