Usethespreadertodispersesfree-owinggranular
materialssuchasgrassseed,fertilizer,icemelt,etc.
Whenyouusethespreader,rstllthehopper,then
applythegranularmaterialstotheworksite,and
nishbycleaningthespreader.
Important:Whenyouuseyourspreader,
thoroughlycleanitattheendoftheday.

hydraulicmotorthatdrivestheimpeller,adjustthe
impeller-motorspeedandadjustthebroadcastpattern
width,andshutofftheimpellermotor.
•Rotatetheimpellercontrolknobcounterclockwise
toruntheimpellermotor,increasemotorspeed
andincreasethebroadcastpattern.
•Rotatetheimpellercontrolknobclockwiseto
decreasemotorspeedanddecreasethebroadcast
pattern,orshutofftheimpellermotor.

Usethehopper-doorcontroltoopenandclose
granular-substanceowfromthehopper.
1.Rotatethehandleofthehopper-doorcontrol
counterclockwisetounlockthecontrol(Figure
21).
2.Openorclosethehopperdoorasfollows:
•Pullthehandletoallowgranularproductto
owfromthehoppertotheimpeller.
•Pushthehandletoshutofftheowof
granularproduct.
3.Rotatethehandleofthehopper-doorcontrol
clockwisetolockthecontrol(Figure21).

Usethedeectorcontroltoadjustthebroadcastof
granularproductfromleftsideoftheimpeller.The
deectorcontrolispulledduringnormalspreader
operation.
