Calibratethespreadereachtimeyouchangegranular
materials.Thespreaderbroadcastsmaterialina
pattern1to7.6m(3to25ft)widedependingonthe
materialparticlesize,volume/density,impeller-motor
speed,rateoftravel,andwindconditions.
UsetheSpreadingCharts(page31)alongwith
informationfromDeterminingtheDistributionPattern
(page28),DeterminingtheEffectiveSpreadingWidth
(page28),andCalculatingtheApplicationRate(page
29)whencalibratingthespreader.
PreparingtheTestSiteandMachine
