UsingtheWheelClutchLevers
Thewheelclutchleversallowyoutomomentarily
disengagethedrivetooneorbothwheelswiththe
tractiondriveleverstillengaged.Thisenablesyouto
turnandmaneuverthesnowthrowereasily.
Note:Holdingdownthetractionleveragainstthe
handleengagesthetractiondrivetobothwheels.
Toturnthesnowthrowertotheright,liftuponthe
rightwheelclutchleverandsqueezeittowardthehandle
(
Figure34).

Momentarilysqueezingandreleasingtheleftorright
wheelclutchleveralsoallowsforsteeringadjustmentsto
keepthesnowthrowergoinginastraightline,especially
indeepsnow.
Squeezingbothwheelclutchleverssimultaneously
disengagesthedrivetobothwheels.Thisenablesyou
tomanuallymovethesnowthrowerbackwardwithout
stoppingtoshiftitintoareversegear.Italsoallowsyou
tomaneuverandtransportthesnowthrowermoreeasily
whentheengineisnotrunning.
