Toshutofftheengine,releasetheblade-controlbar.

wheneveryouleavethemachine.
Important:Whenyoureleasetheblade-control
bar,theengineshouldshutoffandtheblade
shouldstopwithin3seconds.Iftheydonot,stop

RecyclingtheClippings
Yourmachinecomesfromthefactoryreadytorecycle
thegrassandleafclippingsbackintothelawn.
Ifthegrassbagisonthemachineandthe
bag-on-demandleverisinthebaggingposition,
movethelevertotherecyclingposition;referto
OperatingtheBag-on-DemandLever(page16).If
theside-dischargechuteisonthemachine,remove
it;refertoRemovingtheSide-DischargeChute(page
17).
BaggingtheClippings
Usethegrassbagwhenyouwanttocollectgrassandleafclippingsfromthelawn.
Iftheside-dischargechuteisonthemachine,removeit;refertoRemovingtheSide-DischargeChute(page
17).Ifthebag-on-demandleverisintherecyclingposition,moveittothebaggingposition;refertoOperating
theBag-on-DemandLever(page16).
