grassscreen,dirtyorpluggedcoolingns,and/or
coolingshroudsremoved,causesenginedamage
duetooverheating.

Neverinstalladirtylterafterremovingitfromthe
fuelline.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andmovethe
motion-controlleversoutwardtothePARK
position.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.Allowtheenginetocool.
3.Replacethelter(Figure51).
Note:Ensurethattheow-directionarrowon
thereplacementlterpointstowardtheengine.
