Thethrottlecontrolstheenginespeedandithasa
continuousvariablesettingfromSlowtoFast(Figure5).
ChokeControl
PullupontheChokecontroluntilitstopstochokethe
engine(Figure5).PushdownontheChokecontrolfor
normalengineoperation
BladeControlSwitch(PowerTake-Off)
Thebladecontrolswitch,representedbyapower
take-off(PTO)symbol,engagesanddisengagespower
tothemowerblades(Figure5).
MotionControlLeversandParking
Brake
Themotioncontrolleversarespeedsensitivecontrols
ofindependentwheelmotors.Movingaleverforward
orbackwardturnsthewheelonthesamesideforward
orinreverse;wheelspeedisproportionaltotheamount
theleverismoved.Movingthecontrolleversoutward
fromthecenterpositionengagestheparkingbrakeand
allowstheoperatortoexitthemachine(Figure13).
Alwayspositionthemotioncontrolleversintothe
brakepositionwhenyoustopthemachineorleaveit
unattended.
Height-of-CutLever
Theheightofcutleverallowstheoperatortolower
andraisethedeckfromtheseatedposition.Whenthe
leverismovedup,towardtheoperatorthedeckisraised
fromthegroundandwhenmoveddown,awayfromthe
operatoritisloweredtowardtheground.Onlyadjustthe
heightofcutwhilemachineisnotmoving(Figure15).
FootAssistPedal
Thefootassistpedalallowstheoperatortosupportthe
weightofthedeckwiththeirlegduringadjustingthe
deckheightviatheheight-of-cutlever.
