ReplacingtheFuelFilter
ServiceInterval:Every500hours/Yearly(whichever
comesrst)(moreoftenindusty,
dirtyconditions).
Important:Installthefuellinehosesandsecure
withplastictiesthesameastheywereoriginally
installedatthefactorytokeepthefuellineaway
fromcomponentsthatcancausefuellinedamage.
Neverinstalladirtylterafterremovingitfromthe
fuelline.
Thefuellterislocatedneartheengineontheleft
frontoftheengine.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch(PTO),andengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Allowthemachinetocooldown.
4.Replacethefuellter(Figure50).
Note:Ensurethattheow-directionarrowon
thereplacementlterpointstowardtheengine.
