22 Clearing a Paper Misfeed
Paper misfeed in the misfeed releasing cover

Return the transport guide. Then close the misfeed releasing cover and automatic
duplexing unit.
Be sure to securely close both sides of the misfeed releasing cover and the automatic duplexing unit.
Paper misfeed in the fuser unit
Do not touch the fuser unit or the metal portion around it.
Since they are very hot, you could be burned or the shock could cause you to injure your hand in the machine.

Open the automatic duplexing unit on the right.

Open the misfeed releasing cover.
Put your fingers into A, push it up to release the lock, and open the
misfeed releasing cover.

Remove the paper misfed on the lower side of the
guide.
4
Pull the green lever down, open the transport guide
and then remove the paper.
