34 Clearing a Paper Jam

Remove the jammed paper.

Replace the paper in the bypass tray and set the paper size.

Place the original and resume copying.
When “POWER FAILURE” appears, press the [FUNCTION CLEAR] button twice to clear the message.
Jam when printing from the FAX or the printer (using a drawer)

Remove the jammed paper.

Take out all the paper from the bypass tray.

Turn on the main power switch.

Turn off the main power switch.
Shutting down on the control panel is not possible.

Open the drawer indicated in the message and take
out all the paper from the drawer.
