This section describes how to install the Remote Scan driver.
Planning for Installation
This equipment provides a Remote Scan driver that allows users to operate scanning remotely
from a Windows computer and import the scanned images into a TWAIN-compliant application.
The Remote Scan driver can connect to this equipment over a TCP/IP network.
System Requirements
The Remote Scan driver is available for following environments:

TWAIN-compliant application
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2 or later (when IPv4 is used)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later (when IPv6 is used)
y Recommended memories
A4/LT color document at 600 dpi: 256 MB (only for the color model)
Scanning of the document in the black mode: 256 MB
