38 Managing Address Book
y When you press each button (excluding [FAX NO.] and [2ND FAX]), the on-screen keyboard is displayed.
Enter the value using the on-screen keyboard and press [OK] to set the entry. You can also use the digital
keys on the control panel to enter numerals.
y When you press [FAX NO.] and [2ND FAX], the following on-screen keyboard for entering the fax number
will be displayed. Press [Pause] to enter “-” in [FAX NO.] and [2ND FAX]. If you enter “-” in them, a three-
second pause is added for dialing the fax number.
You can also use the digital keys on the control panel to enter fax numbers.

Press [OPTION] to specify the default settings for a fax transmission.
y This is available only when the FAX Unit (optional) is installed.

Press [OK] to register the contact.
The contact is registered in the address book.
