7. COMMUNICATION TYPE, MODEL NAMES AND THE
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CONNECTABLE UNITS
7-1. This air conditioning (U series) has new communication specifications, and TU2C-
Link (U series) and TCC-Link (other than U series) differ in a communication type.
For the communication type and the model names such as each unit or remote
controllers, refer to the following table.
7-2. If TU2C-Link (U series) is combined with TCC-Link (other than U series), the wiring
specifications and the maximum number of connectable indoor units during group
control operation will be changed.
(1) For wiring specifications, carry out the installation, maintenance, or repair according to the attached
Installation Manual.
(2) For a communication type combination and the max. number of connectable Hot Water Module, refer
to the following table.
• Only when all outdoor unit, indoor unit and remote control are a U series, communication method is
TU2C-LINK, and the maximum number of connectable units will be 16.
