Some discs are spocitied not suitable tor children.
Such discs can be limited not to play hack with the unit.

Press DVD to select DVD mode. Press SETUP in
the stop mode. Press _ or _ to select "Parental",
then press ,,_ or ENTER.

Press € or _ to select "Parental Level", then
press .-_ or ENTER.
Press t or _ to select a revel from Off or "[-8.
Press .._ or ENTER to set the selected level.
• Level Off: The parental control setting does not
function.
• Level B: A{most al_DVD sottware can be p_ayed
back.
• Level 1: DVDsoftwareforadu/tscannotbeptayed
back.
• Select from the level 1to level 8. The limitation will be
more severe as the tare1 numberis tower.
Press t Or ,I.to select "Password", then press
,,_ or ENTER.
Press number buttons (0-9) for the password.
Don't forget the password,
• tf you inputa wrong number, press
CANCEL.
6 Press ENTER to store the password.
Note: Now the rating is locked and
the setting cannot be changed
unless you enter the correct
password.
• If you want to return to the previous
menu, press "_-or RETUR'N.
Press SETUP to remove the parental controlecreen,

Notes:
• It each setup (P.56-60) has been completed, the unit can
always be worked under the same conditions (espec_lly with
DVD discs).
Each setup will be retained in the memory when you turn the
power off.
Depending on the discs, the unit cannot limit playback.
Some discs may not be enoo4Jed with spec(fic rating level
information though its disc jacket says "adult." For those discs,
the age restriction will not work,
