Click this button to cha nge a re gis te red pass word. Be fore you ca n

Own er S tring (te xt box)
You ca n us e this box to a s s ocia te text with the password. After you
e nte r te xt, click Ap p ly or OK. Whe n the compute r is started, this te xt
will be dis pla yed toge ther with the prompt a s king you to e nte r a
pa s s word.
You ca n us e BIOS Setup to s e t, change or de le te the HDD P ass word or
HDD Ma s te r P a ssword.

1. In the S e ttin g s cha rm, click P owe r a nd the n s e le ct Res ta rt.
2. Hold down the F2 ke y a nd then re le a se this ke y one s econd a fte r
the compute r is powe r on - the BIOS s e tup utility will loa d.
To e nd the BIOS S etup, pre ss F10, a nd the n pre s s ENTER to a cce pt
the cha nges. The compute r will re s ta rt.
If you forge t your HDD User P a ssword, TOS HIBA will NOT be a ble to
a ssis t you, a nd your HDD will be re nde re d COMPLETELY a nd
PERMANENTLY INOP ERABLE. TOSHIBA will NOT be he ld
