The Volume Mixer utility lets you control the audio volume for pla yba ck of
de vice s and applications under Windows .
To la unch the Volume Mixe r utility, click De s kto p a nd right click on the
spe a ke r icon on the Ta s kba r, a nd the n s e le ct Op en Vo lu m e Mixe r
from the s ub me nu.
To a djus t the volume le ve l of spe ake rs or he a dphone s , move the
Speake rs slide r.
To a djus t the volume le ve l of a n a pplica tion that you a re us ing, move
the s lide r for the corre sponding a pplica tion.
Mic ro p h o n e Le ve l
Follow the s teps be low to change the microphone re cording le ve l.
1. Right click on the s pe a ker icon on the Ta s kba r, a nd s e lect Record in g
devic e s from the s ub me nu.
2. S e le ct Microph o n e , a nd click Pro p e rties .
3. On the Le ve ls ta b move the Micro phone s lider to incre a s e or
de cre a s e the microphone volume le ve l.
If you feel the microphone volume le ve l is ina de qua te , move the
Mic roph o n e Bo o s t s lider to a highe r le ve l.
