The a daptor is a device tha t conne cts to the e xterna l displa y via HDMI
port a nd can re ce ive Wi-Fi s igna ls from your compute r.
Type "Inte l WiDi" from the S ta rt scre e n a nd click Inte l(R) WiDi. Intel WiDi
application will launch a nd you a re re a dy to s ta rt the conne ction.

Afte r one or more e xte rna l dis pla ys a re conne cte d, the operating system
ca n a utoma tica lly detect, identify a nd s e tup the dis play s ettings.
You ca n als o ma nua lly mana ge how the e xte rnal dis pla ys will work a nd
cha nge the dis play s ettings by pressing P while holding down the
Windo ws ( ) ke y. If you dis conne ct the e xte rna l displa y be fore you turn
the compute r's power off, be s ure to s witch to the inte rna l displa y.

A s e curity lock e nable s you to a nchor your compute r to a de s k or other
he a vy object in orde r to he lp pre ve nt una uthorize d re mova l or the ft. The
compute r ha s a s e curity lock s lot on its right s ide into which you ca n a tta ch
one e nd of the s e curity ca ble , while the other e nd a tta che s to a desk or

In orde r to conne ct a s e curity ca ble to the computer, follow the s te ps a s
de ta ile d be low:
1. Turn the compute r s o its le ft s ide fa ce s you.
2. Align the s ecurity cable with the lock s lot and secure it in place .
