I ca nnot us e the
Sleep a nd Cha rge
function.
Sleep a nd Cha rge function ma y be dis a bled.
Ena ble the S le ep a n d Ch arg e function in the
TOS HIBA S ys te m S e ttings .
When the re is a current ove rflow of the e xte rna l
de vice conne cted to the compa tible port, US B bus
powe r (DC5V) s upply ma y be s topped for s afety
re as ons. Whe n this ha ppe ns , dis conne ct a n
e xterna l device if s ome e xte rnal de vice s a re
conne cte d. Afte r that, turn the power of the
compute r ON/OFF to re s tore the function. If this
function can not be s till us e d e ve n if only one
e xterna l device is conne cte d, s top using the
e xterna l device be ca use its curre nt is over the
a cce pta ble va lue of this compute r.
Some e xte rna l de vice s may not be a ble to us e the
Sleep a nd Cha rge function. In this ca se, ple ase try
one or more of the following methods .
Turn OFF the compute r while e xte rnal device s
a re connecte d.
Conne ct externa l de vice s a fte r turning OFF of
the compute r.
If this function ca n not be s till us ed, cha nge the
s etting to dis able the function a nd s top us ing this
function.
The ba tte ry de plete s
quickly eve n whe n I
turne d OFF the
powe r of the
computer.
If S le e p a nd Cha rge function is e na ble d, the
compute r's ba tte ry will dis cha rge during
hibe rnation or when the compute r is turne d off.
Conne ct the AC a da ptor to the computer or disa ble
the S le ep a nd Cha rge function.
Exte rna l de vice s
conne cte d to the
compa tible ports do
not work whe n
conne cte d to a
compa tible port.
Some e xte rna l de vice s may not work when
conne cte d to a compatible port if the S le e p a nd
Cha rge function is e nable d.
Re connect the e xte rna l de vice a fter turning the
compute r ON.
If the e xte rna l de vice s till doe s not work, conne ct
de vice to a n USB port tha t does not ha ve the
Sleep a nd Cha rge function or cha nge to dis a ble
the S le ep a nd Cha rge function.
