The following instructions apply to a ll type s of s upporte d me dia de vice s . To
ins e rt me mory me dia , follow the s te ps a s deta ile d be low:
1. Turn the me mory media s o tha t the conta cts (me ta l a re a s ) fa ce down.
2. Ins e rt the me mory me dia into the me mory me dia s lot on the front of
the compute r.
3. Press the me mory me dia gently until it clicks into pla ce .

1. Click the De s kto p tile a nd open the S a fe ly Re move Ha rd wa re and
Eje c t Med ia icon on the Windows Taskba r.
2. Select m e mory m ed ia .
3. Pus h the me mory me dia until you he ar a click to partia lly re lea s e it.
4. Gra s p it and pull it out of the s lot.
If you re move the me mory media or turn off the powe r while the
compute r is accessing the memory me dia, you ma y los e da ta or
da ma ge the me dia.
