Th e H DMI o u t p o r t
HDMI (High-Definition Multime dia Inte rface ) port digita lly tra ns fe rs both
vide o and a udio da ta without reducing the qua lity. HDMI-compa tible
externa l dis play de vice s including te le visions ca n be connecte d via the
HDMI port.
To connect a n HDMI-compatible displa y device , follow the s te ps a s
de ta ile d be low:
As the port ope ra tion of a ll HDMI displa y de vice s ha ve not be e n confirme d,
some HDMI displa y device s ma y not function prope rly.
To connect a device to the HDMI out port, you mus t purchase a n HDMI
ca ble.
1. Plug one e nd of the HDMI cable into the HDMI in port of the HDMI
dis pla y de vice .
2. Plug the othe r e nd of the HDMI cable into the HDMI out port on your
compute r.

3. Turn the HDMI displa y de vice 's powe r on.
Please do not plug/unplug a n HDMI de vice unde r the following conditions :
The s ys te m is s ta rting up.
The s ys te m is s hutting down.
Whe n you conne ct a te le vis ion or externa l monitor to the HDMI port, the
dis pla y output de vice is s et to HDMI.
Whe n you unplug the HDMI ca ble a nd re -plug it, please wa it a t le ast 5
seconds be fore you re -plug the HDMI ca ble a gain.
Whe n you cha nge the dis pla y output de vice , the pla yba ck de vice ma y not
switch a utomatica lly. In this ca se, in order to s e t the pla yback de vice to the
same de vice as the dis pla y output de vice, ple a s e a djus t the pla yback
de vice manua lly by the following s te ps :
