6.1 Inspection
6.1.1 Daily inspection
Do the following in your daily inspection.
Front panel
(1) LEDs
Check the LEDs that it is not difficult to see them. If it is, clean them with a soft cloth
or the like. Be careful not to change the switch positions.
(2) TC-net 100 connector
Check the TC-net 100 connector that it is connected as described in the Information
and Control Network Module TC-net 100 Installation and Wiring Manual (6F8C0942),
and that the cable connection is normal. Check that the cable is not coming loose out
of position and that it appears nothing abnormal. Check the wiring is as specified in
the Information and Control network TC-net 100 Installation and Wiring Manual (as to
bending radius, route, etc.) If anything wrong is found, contact your nearest Toshiba
service shop.
Ventilation ports
Check the ventilation ports in the front panel and top of the product that they are free of
dust and stains. If the ventilation ports are clogged up with foreign matter, remove it
using a vacuum cleaner or a soft cloth, for example.
Indoor environment
Check the temperature and humidity of the room where the product is installed that they
meet the product specifications (
Table A-1General Specifications).
6.1.2 Periodic inspection
Periodic inspection is recommended at least once a year to prevent accidents and keep
the product in good operating condition for a long period of time.
Periodic replacement of expendable parts is recommended. (Refer to the section on
expendable parts.) For periodic inspection, consult your nearest Toshiba service shop.
The optical shared hub unit has a fuse in its power inlet. Apart from replacing a burnt
fuse, it is recommended that the fuse be replaced about every five years at your periodic
inspection.
Fuse specifications: 250 V, 3.15 A, melting type, model 5x20
