Fuel tank door release & cap
Press the rear edge of the fuel filler
flap to open it.
Turn the fuel cap counterclockwise.
Recommended fuel grade
• 2.0 models - Toyota recommends AKI 91.
• 3.0, 3.0 Premium models and Special Editions - Toyota recommends AKI 93.
For the best fuel efficiency, the gasoline should be sulfur-free or very low in sulfur
content.
Fuels that are marked on the gas pump as containing metal must not be used.
Refer to the “Owner’s Manual” for more details.
Place the fuel cap in the bracket
attached to the fuel filler flap.
