01 / Check Compatibility
1. Check existing valve type
There are two types of valves: Thermostatic and Manual.
Kasa Smart Thermostatic Radiator Valve is only compatible with the thermostatic valve.
Note: Manual valves are not compatible with Kasa Smart Thermostatic Radiator Valve, such as the ones in the following pictures.
