  If the LAN LED is not lit on your TP-Link Wireless Access Point, first, make sure the cable connectors are securely plugged into both the Access Point and the network device (hub, switch, or router). Secondly, ensure that the connected device is turned on. Finally, verify that you are using the correct cable, which should be a standard Category 5 Ethernet patch cable. Note that if your network device supports Auto Uplink™ (MDI/MDIX) ports, you can use either a crossover cable or a normal patch cable.

  If you cannot access the TP-Link Wireless Access Point with a wireless capable computer, it might be due to a configuration problem. Try restarting the computer with the wireless adapter to ensure TCP/IP changes take effect. Also, check the computer's TCP/IP settings to ensure they are correctly configured for the network; the usual setting for Windows is 'Obtain an IP address automatically' in Network Properties. It's also possible that the Access Point’s default values conflict with your network configuration, so check for any conflicts with other devices.
