If the LAN LED on your TP-Link Wireless Access Point isn't lit, it could be due to a hardware connection problem. Ensure the cable connectors are securely plugged into both the Access Point and the network device (hub, switch, or router). Also, verify that the connected device is turned on and that you're using a standard Category 5 Ethernet patch cable. If your network device supports Auto Uplink™ (MDI/MDIX) ports, you can use either a crossover cable or a normal patch cable.

If you cannot access the TP-Link Wireless Access Point with a wireless capable computer, there may be a configuration problem. Restart the computer with the wireless adapter to ensure TCP/IP changes take effect. Also, ensure that the computer with the wireless adapter has the correct TCP/IP settings to communicate with the network. Check if the access point’s default configuration conflicts with the configuration of other devices in your network.

If no LEDs are lit on your TP-Link Wireless Access Point, first wait a minute and check the status of the Power LED. Make sure the power cord is securely connected to the Access Point and that the power adapter is connected to a functioning electrical outlet with the switch turned on. Finally, ensure you are using the correct TP-LINK power adapter provided with your Access Point.
