What to do if there is no output signal at the loudspeakers of T+A Amplifier?
    • H
      Heather GrossAug 15, 2025
If the LEDs above the volume buttons on your T+A Amplifier are flashing alternately and there's no sound, the protection circuit has likely been triggered due to overheating or overloading. Try reducing the volume and wait about 20 seconds. If it doesn't switch back on, let it cool down for a few minutes. Also, check for short-circuits in the speaker leads, ensuring no stray wire ends are touching and the cables are in good condition. Lastly, disconnect the input cable to check for overloading due to poor earth contact; if the amplifier restarts, inspect and replace the input lead if needed.

Why T+A PA1230 R does not respond to remote control commands?
    • K
      Karen ReyesAug 18, 2025
If your T+A Amplifier isn't responding to remote commands, even with new batteries, ensure the batteries are correctly installed. Check the receiver connection to the RC socket and make sure it's firmly plugged in. If you're using an F1 remote, verify it's set to Hi-Fi mode. Also, make sure there's a clear line of sight between the remote and receiver, avoiding direct sunlight or strong artificial light, and position the receiver within approximately 8 meters of the transmitter. Remember that glass doors and fluorescent lights can interfere with the signal.

Why T+A Amplifier switches off at high volume?
    • G
      George WrightAug 21, 2025
If your T+A Amplifier switches off repeatedly at high volume, it may be overheating. Ensure there's enough space around the unit for proper air circulation. Also, make sure you are using loudspeakers with an impedance of at least 4 ? (DIN rating), which means a minimum impedance of > 3.2 ?.
