  If the LEDs above the volume buttons on your T+A Amplifier are flashing alternately and there's no sound, the protection circuit has likely been triggered due to overheating or overloading. Try reducing the volume and wait about 20 seconds. If it doesn't switch back on, let it cool down for a few minutes. Also, check for short-circuits in the speaker leads, ensuring no stray wire ends are touching and the cables are in good condition. Lastly, disconnect the input cable to check for overloading due to poor earth contact; if the amplifier restarts, inspect and replace the input lead if needed.

  If your T+A Amplifier isn't responding to remote commands, even with new batteries, ensure the batteries are correctly installed. Check the receiver connection to the RC socket and make sure it's firmly plugged in. If you're using an F1 remote, verify it's set to Hi-Fi mode. Also, make sure there's a clear line of sight between the remote and receiver, avoiding direct sunlight or strong artificial light, and position the receiver within approximately 8 meters of the transmitter. Remember that glass doors and fluorescent lights can interfere with the signal.
