7.3.2 Change Engine Oil
Refer to the engine manufacturer’s manual for locaon of components and
more detailed assistance.
Do not change the oil if the engine is hot.
The rst oil change is aer 50 hours of work.
Subsequent oil changes should be made aer each 100 hours of work.
At extreme temperatures or condions change the oil aer every 50 hours.
Open the drain plug on the engine and the lling plug and drain the oil into
a suitable container or use a sucon pump to remove oil through ller neck.
Ensure the waste oil is disposed of properly.
Re-t the drain plug and ghten.
Fill fresh engine oil through the oil lling opening. Use a funnel or similar
device for ease of lling.
Replace the oil ller plug and ghten.
7.3.3 Air Filter
Inspecon Check:
Remove the air cleaner cover and inspect the lter elements.
Cleaning:
See diagram below containing informaon provided by Honda.
7.3.4 Spark Plug
Clean and replace.
