Close the grill lid to proceed with cooking. Unlike a gas grill, you must
keep the grill lid shut during cooking.
IN CASE OF FIRE:
WARNING! WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING OF YOUR TRAEGER® GRILL, A GREASE FIRE
IS UNLIKELY. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF FIRE, IMMEDIATELY
TURN THE GRILL OFF (O) AND LEAVE THE GRILL LID CLOSED
UNTIL THE FIRE IS OUT. UNPLUG THE POWER CORD IF YOU
CAN DO SO SAFELY. DO NOT THROW WATER ON THE UNIT.
DO NOT TRY TO SMOTHER THE FIRE. WITH THE GRILL LID
CLOSED, THE FIRE WILL BE STARVED OF OXYGEN AND BURN
ITSELF OUT. IF AN UNCONTROLLED FIRE DOES OCCUR, CALL
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
USING YOUR GRILL CONTINUED
TO CARRY YOUR GRILL:
Do not carry the grill by its handle. Always carry the grill by the
bottom, using the indents located on each side. Only carry the grill
when it is cooled o and not in use.
