Use
STARTING THE HYDROMASSAGE
Pumps
Press the “Jets” button once to turn pump 1 on or off,
and to shift between low and high speeds if provided.
If left running, the pump will turn off after a time-out period.
On non-recirc systems, the low-speed pump 1 is active
when other pumps are active. If the spa is in Ready Mode,
low speed pump 1 may also activate once in a while for at
least one minute to detect the spa temperature and then
to heat to the set temperature. When the low speed pump
turns on automatically it cannot be deactivated from the
panel. It is possible to increase the speed instead.
Circulation Pump Modes
If the system is equipped with a circ pump, it will be con-
gured to work in one of three different ways:
1 The recirc pump operates continuously (24 hours) with
the exception of turning off for 30 minutes at a time
when the water temperature reaches 3°F (1.5°C) above
the set temperature (most likely to happen in very hot
climates).
2 The recirc pump stays on continuously, regardless of
water temperature.
3 A programmable recirc pump will come on when the
system is checking temperature (polling), during lter
cycles, during freeze conditions, or when another pump
comes on.
The specic Circulation Mode that is used has been de-
termined by the Manufacturer and cannot be changed
in the eld.
WATER FILTRATION AND OZONE
On non-circ systems, Pump 1 low and the ozone generator
will run during ltration.
On circ systems, the ozone will run with the circ pump.
The system is factory-programmed with one lter cycle
that will run in the evening (assuming the time-of-day is
properly set) when energy rates are often lower. The lter
time and duration are programmable.
A second lter cycle can be enabled as needed.
At the start of each lter cycle, all hydraulic devices (other
than the primary pump) will run briey to purge the plumb-
ing to maintain good water quality.
FREEZE PROTECTION
If the heater temperature sensors detect a sufciently low
temperature, the pump(s) will automatically turn on to
provide frost protection. The pumps work continuously
or periodically as required.
In colder climates, an optional freeze sensor may be
added to protect against freeze conditions that may not
be sensed by the standard sensors. Auxiliary freeze sen-
sor protection acts as the standard sensor and is based
on the temperature threshold determined by the switch.

CLEAN-UP CYCLE (OPTIONAL)
When a pump is turned on, a 30-minute clean-up cycle
begins when the use time expires or is switched off. The
pump and the ozone generator will run for 30 minutes or
more, depending on the system. On some systems, you
can change this setting.
CHROMOTHERAPY
Chromotherapy has 12 different programs:
1. fast fading - colour cycle lasting approximately 5” for
each colour;
2. stroboscopic ash - duration about 10” - after about
10" the light goes off and starts again for another 10”
3. red xed light
4. green xed light
5. blue xed light
6. yellow xed light
7. light blue xed light
8. orange xed light
9. purple xed light
10. white xed light
11. Fast intermittency - 8 colour cycle + shutdown, with
a duration of approximately 1” for each colour;
12. Fast fading - colour cycle lasting approximately 30”
for each colour;
The various programs are activated with the LIGHT key
as specied below
- The light button works ON/OFF, so the rst pressure
turns on, the second turns off, the third turns on and
so on.
- When you power the spa and press the LIGHT button
for the rst time, you always start with sequence No.1;
each sequence, in the absence of further action, will
remain active for 4h, after which it will automatically
switch off.
- When the LIGHT button is pressed again, the LEDs go
off and the following possibilities are presented:
a. If the light button is pressed again within 3 seconds,
the next program is switched on.
b. If pressed between 3 to 5 seconds, in whichever
program you are in, the light will always switch on again
with program 10.
c. If it is pressed after more than 5 seconds, the light will
switch on again from the same program in progress
before switching off.
