4 INSTALLATION
4.1 POSITIONING
The adjacent cabinetry and wall materials must be able to withstand a minimum
temperature rise of 85°C above the ambient temperature of the room.
For the purpose of installation and use, a minimum of 50 mm space shall be preserved
around the hole and 55mm from side or back wall
Be sure the thickness of the work surface is at least 30 mm. Please select heat-resistant
work surface material to avoid larger deformation caused by the heat radiation from the
hotplate. As shown below:
Make sure the ceramic cooktop is well ventilated and the air inlet and outlet are not
blocked.
Note: The safety distance between the hotplate and the cupboard above the hotplate
should be at least 650 mm.
