Setting the proper rotation direction of the H NAV and V NAV servos is detailed in the
CONFIGURATION SETTINGS menu, previously described in Chapter 11.
IMPORTANT
Prior to performing this step the system must be powered up for a full 5 minute period to allow the inertial
components to bias to their zero position. For H NAV settings, if the aileron center number in the H NAV
setup configuration is near the extremes of 6000 or 9000, it might be necessary to check the pushrod
length servo linkage. Ideal level flight should occur near the 7500 center but small deviations are
acceptable.
Note: The Radio Shack switches specified are for reference only. Radio Shack changes their
parts and suppliers often. They, or other suppliers, will have equivalent switches.
