Overview

This document provides installation and operating instructions for the Triton Style 3 electric shower. It emphasizes safety, proper installation, and user guidance for optimal performance and longevity.

Function Description:

The Triton Style 3 is an electric shower designed to provide instant hot water for showering. It heats water on demand using electrical elements, eliminating the need for a pre-heated water supply. The shower features controls for adjusting water temperature and flow, allowing users to customize their showering experience. It incorporates safety features such as a pressure relief device (PRD) and a thermal cut-out to prevent overheating and excessive pressure build-up. The unit also includes a phased shutdown feature to flush out residual hot water after use, ensuring the next user doesn't receive a slug of hot water.

  • Phased Shutdown: After pressing the Start/Stop button, water continues to flow for a few seconds to flush out remaining hot water, preventing a slug of hot water for the next user.
  • Safety Cut-out: An over-temperature safety device that disconnects heating elements in case of abnormal operation causing unsafe temperatures.
  • User Maintenance: Cleaning the showerhead regularly with descalent is recommended to prevent scale and debris build-up, which can restrict flow and affect performance.
