TSPST 450
WARNING: Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities contains chemicals known to the State of
California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are: lead from lead-based paints, crystalline
silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber. Your risk from exposure to these
chemicals varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure, work in a well-ventilated area and with approved safety
equipment, such as dust masks that are specially designed to lter out microscopic particles.

    • D
      David TranAug 12, 2025
If you are producing large amounts of dust with your Triton Sander, there are two potential causes. First, the dust extractor passage may be blocked; turn off the machine at the mains, remove the spindle sander components or belt sander unit, and clear the blockage. Second, you might be using the incorrect throat plate; change to the correct-sized throat plate.

What to do if my Triton TSPST 450 drum is not at full speed?
    • P
      Peter TurnerAug 18, 2025
If the sanding drum on your Triton Sander isn't operating at full speed or the motor sounds different than normal, the motor may be overheating. Switch OFF the sander and allow it to cool for a ½ hour. Other possible causes are a faulty motor or worn motor belt, both of which require contacting an authorized Triton service center.
