Bluetooth
®
An open wireless technology standard for transmitting
fixed and mobile electronic device data over short
distances; uses 79 frequencies centred on 2.45GHz, with
each pair of devices on a different channel.
Paired Device
A device for which connection information has been saved
on another
Bluetooth
-enabled device; paired devices
connect automatically when within range with
Bluetooth
on.
Connected Device
A paired device that has an active connection with
another
Bluetooth
-enabled device; the devices can share
information as long as the connection is open.
Joystick
The Joystick is used to navigate the instrument menus.
Refer to the Owner’s Handbook for your motorcycle for
more information.
Home Button
The HOME button is used to access the main menu on the
instrument display. Refer to the Owner’s Handbook for
your motorcycle for more information.
Maximum Number of
Devices
The maximum number of devices that can connect
simultaneously to the My Triumph Connectivity Module is
four devices. The maximum number of devices that can be
paired with the My Triumph Connectivity Module is 10
standard
Bluetooth
-enabled devices, plus one GoPro
camera and one iOS App.
Discoverable Mode
A mode in which a device transmits a signal so that other
devices can see its name and connect to it; typically, this
mode is activated only for initial connection, not when
devices subsequently connect; see manufacturer’s
instructions for how to select this mode.
Call History
List of the last seven calls (missed, originated or received)
stored on the connected phone including contact names.
List accessible through the instruments and can be used
to return calls.
Phonebook
List of contacts on the connected phone; can be accessed
through the instruments and used to call a contact;
contacts cannot be added or deleted using the instrument
panel on the motorcycle.
Motorcycle Moving Speed greater than 2 mph (3 km/h), brakes not applied.
Motorcycle Stationary Engine off, ignition on, transmission in neutral.
