If no LEDs light up on the front panel and the TRIVIEW Receiver isn't responding to the remote control, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into the outlet. Also, the receiver might be in standby mode; press the Power button on the front panel or remote control to turn it on.

Why is my TRIVIEW TDVB-SDB2 showing a bad picture or blocking error?

      Tony SmithAug 9, 2025
If you are experiencing a bad picture or blocking errors on your TRIVIEW Receiver, it could be due to several reasons: * A weak signal. Check the cable connection, LNB, and other equipment connected between the LNB and receiver. Adjust the satellite dish if needed. * An LNB with a high Noise Factor. Consider changing to an LNB with a lower Noise Factor. * A faulty LNB unit. Check and replace the LNB if necessary. * The satellite dish not pointing correctly. Adjust the satellite dish and check the signal level in the Satellite Setting menu. * The signal being too strong. Connect a signal attenuator into the LNB input. * A satellite dish that is too small. Check the dish position and consider changing to a larger satellite dish.

If the remote control for your TRIVIEW Receiver isn't working, first, change the battery. If that doesn't solve the issue, ensure that you are aiming the remote directly at the receiver and that there are no obstructions between the remote and the front panel of the receiver.

If there is no sound coming from your TRIVIEW Receiver, but the LED on the front panel is lit, it could be due to a few reasons: * There might be no or an improper audio connection. Check and correct the audio connection. * The MUTE function might be enabled on the receiver and/or TV. Check and disable the MUTE function if needed. * The sound volume might be set too low on the receiver and/or TV. Check and increase the sound volume.
