Filling & Using the 1903 Baitwell
1. Insert the rubber end of the drain stand-pipe into the drain fitting at the bottom of the tank.
2. If equipped, turn the y-valve clockwise to the baitwell position.
3. Open the seawater intake seacock.
4. On the main switch panel, turn On the baitwell switch.
• To completely drain the baitwell remove the stand-pipe.
The tank should now be filling with water. If water is not pumping into the tank, possible causes are:
• A collapsed hose or clogging debris in the system.
• The y-valve is turned to the wrong position.
• The seacock is Closed.
• The baitwell fuse is blown.
Aeration Tips
The level of aeration is controlled by the aerator control valve.
• In clean ocean water little or no aeration is needed.
• In brackish back waters a higher level of aeration is needed.
