7. Connect the oven to the required power source (refer to
Appendix C).
WARNING
The power source must have a reliable earth ground
connection, or a hazardous condition may occur
during oven operation.
NOTE
On 240 V ac (Model 4731) ovens, a connector must be
installed on the oven power cord. In the U.S. and
Canada, the connector must meet ANSI/UL 498 safety
requirements (NEMA Type 6-20P). In Europe, the
connector must meet IEC 320 safety requirements.

for the curr

t and voltage ratings for the oven.
NOTE
The Troxler NTO Asphalt Content Ignition Oven is a
precision instrument. Troxler recommends using an
uninterruptible power supply or surge protection on the
oven’s input power source.
